Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ATP Technology LLC, a Colorado limited liability company that operates Atlas Ledger ("Atlas Ledger," "we,"
"us," "our"). They cover your use of Atlas Ledger: the web application at atlasledger.studio, our mobile
apps, and related services (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you
agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not
use the Service.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract
- Live in the United States. The Service supports U.S. financial institutions only.
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your Account
- Give accurate registration information and keep it up to date
- Keep your password and devices secure. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
- One person per account. Do not share your login. To share a financial view with family, use the household feature (Section 7).
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Description of Service
Atlas Ledger is a personal finance tool that helps you view and organize your financial information. Depending on your plan, it lets you:
- Connect bank, card, loan and investment accounts through a third-party data provider to view balances and transactions
- Track spending, create budgets, and set savings goals
- See analytics, forecasts, and spending insights, and ask an AI assistant about your finances
- Scan receipts to help enter transactions
- Track crypto wallets, subscriptions, paychecks, and cash flow
- Share a combined view with members of your household
- Export transactions as CSV or PDF
Features vary by plan and may change over time.
5. Linked Accounts and Third-Party Data
- Connecting accounts. You link financial accounts through our data provider, Plaid Inc., or for some institutions Teller. By connecting an account, you authorize us and the provider to retrieve your account information from your financial institution on your behalf, and you agree that the provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to its service. We never receive your bank login credentials.
- Accuracy. Financial data comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Balances and transactions shown in the Service are for information only. Your financial institution's records are the official record.
- Disconnecting. You can unlink an account at any time. Your institution or the data provider may also end a connection, and you may need to reconnect it.
- Crypto. Crypto balances and prices come from public blockchain and market-data services and may be inaccurate or delayed.
6. Subscription Plans, Free Trial, and Billing
Atlas Ledger is a paid service with two plans: Plus ($9.99 per month or $89.99 per year)
and Pro ($14.99 per month or $129 per year). Prices are in U.S. dollars, plus any
applicable taxes. The features in each plan are described on our pricing page. Web subscriptions are
billed through Stripe. Subscriptions bought in our iOS or Android app are billed by
Apple or Google at the price shown in the store when you buy.
Free trial
- Each person gets one 30-day free trial of Pro features, when they first create an account. No credit card is required to start it.
- Subscribing to a paid plan during your trial does not restart or extend it: billing starts when your trial ends. Your card is collected at checkout.
- There is no free plan. When your trial ends, you need a paid subscription (Plus or Pro) to keep using the Service. You are not charged automatically unless you have subscribed.
- There is no free trial on later subscriptions, or on a new account created with the same email address (including variations of it) as an account that already had one. Those subscriptions are billed from the day you subscribe.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) or Apple or Google (for in-app purchases) to charge your payment method each billing period.
- You can cancel at any time. Web subscriptions can be cancelled from the Subscription page. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings.
- When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Deleting your account immediately cancels any active web (Stripe) subscription. It does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
Refunds
- We do not give refunds or credits for partial billing periods, except where the law requires it.
- We may issue a refund at our discretion.
- Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies.
Failed payments and price changes
- If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. You then have a grace period (currently 7 days) to update your payment method, after which your paid access ends.
- We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies to your subscription. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
AI fair-use limits
- The AI assistant is a Pro feature, limited to 150 messages per month.
- AI features (the assistant and receipt scanning) are also subject to AI cost caps: Plus $0.50 per day and $5 per month, Pro $1 per day and $10 per month of AI usage. Daily caps reset at midnight UTC and monthly caps on the 1st, so heavy use can reach a cap before 150 messages.
- When you reach a limit, AI features pause until it resets. The rest of the Service keeps working. We may change these limits and will update our pricing page when we do.
7. Household Sharing
You can invite other people to a household. Household members can see each other's name and email
address, and a combined view that shows each member's total assets, total liabilities, net worth, and
number of linked accounts. Only invite people you trust. Any member can leave a household at any time.
8. AI Features
- The AI assistant and receipt scanner use a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude). Our Privacy Policy explains what data is sent.
- The assistant is not a licensed financial advisor. AI responses can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it.
- The assistant may propose changes, such as creating a budget, goal, or transaction rule, or deleting a budget. Nothing changes unless you confirm it, and you are responsible for the changes you confirm.
- Receipt scan results are suggestions. Review them before you save them.
9. Smart Transfers (If Offered)
We may offer an optional feature that moves money between your own linked accounts according to rules
you set. It is not currently available, and if offered it may be limited to certain plans or accounts
and may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time. Before you can turn it on, we will show you
separate authorization terms, which will also apply. You are responsible for keeping enough funds in
your accounts, and for any bank fees for overdrafts or returned transfers.
10. Not Financial Advice
Atlas Ledger is a tool for tracking and organizing your financial information. We are not a bank, broker, investment adviser, or tax adviser. Nothing in the Service, including analytics, forecasts, "safe-to-spend" figures, and AI responses, is:
- Financial, investment, tax, legal, or credit advice
- A substitute for professional financial planning
- A guarantee of financial outcomes
Forecasts are estimates. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
11. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or fraudulent, or to access accounts you are not authorized to access
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or get around rate limits, plan limits, or AI usage caps
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except where the law allows it
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service
- Impersonate another person or entity, or give false information
- Share your account credentials with others
12. Your Data and Our Intellectual Property
- Your data stays yours. You give us a limited permission to store, process, and display your data only to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
- Our property. The Service, including its software, design, and content, belongs to Atlas Ledger and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Plaid and Teller (account connections), Stripe
(web payments), Apple and Google (sign-in and in-app purchases), Google Firebase (sign-in), and
Anthropic (AI features). The full list is in our Privacy Policy. Your use of
those providers' services may also be governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the
availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.
14. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, or by emailing us. Deletion removes your
data from our live systems. Some limited records, such as security logs and backups, are kept for a
time, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you want a copy of your data, export
it first.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if the law requires it, or if needed
to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will give you notice. We may discontinue the
Service; if we do, we will try to give reasonable advance notice so you can export your data.
15. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
- We do not guarantee that data from financial institutions, data providers, blockchains, or AI models is accurate, complete, or up to date
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or financial losses, including losses from decisions you make based on the Service
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
17. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Atlas Ledger against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable
attorneys' fees) that arise from your violation of these Terms or of the law, or from your misuse of the
Service.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable U.S. federal law.
- Before filing a claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.
- Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may instead bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
19. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated"
date, and for significant changes we may also notify you by email or in the app. If you keep using the
Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the
Service and delete your account.
20. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a
provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms stay in effect. If we do not enforce a provision,
that does not waive it. You may not transfer these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer them in
connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We may send notices to your account email.
21. Contact Information
If you have questions about these Terms, or need support, please contact us at
